About Me
I am Mexican.
I am a woman.
I am 24.
I am deeply inspired by life.
memories.
colors.

people that surround me.
places.
lights.
love.
fear.
problems .
frustration.
nature.
music.
strangers.
Truly Everything.
Since I discovered the power of photography when I was 15 years old, it changed my life and the way I gaze into the world. Memories are treasures for sharing, the ordinary becomes extraordinary, and visual narratives can touch people’s souls into more conscious human beings.
I’m afraid I cannot choose one single category of photography as my favorite because I love every single aspect of it. Wildlife teaches you how to be patient and a natural observer. Photojournalism teaches you how to be more empathetic, honest, and how to portray other people’s stories. Portraiture photography allows you to gaze into the person’s soul, and street photography forces you to look at life with precise and extreme detail.
The fact that a single image can transform the viewer forever in a challenging, inspiring, passionate or any arousing strong emotions is why I am entirely devoted to capturing everything that comes to my eye.
This is my way of feeling.
This is my way of living.
From my gaze to yours.
Nice to have you here.
Alessandra De Zaldo Cota.

Once upon a wildlife expedition:
Conservation photography for the awareness of wildlife protection and ecosystems is essential in our dying planet. Documenting the rescue, rehabilitation, and release work at Alturas Wildlife Sanctuary in Costa Rica serves as a testimony and example on how communities work alongside each other to educate and save the environment.
